Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that it’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s decision what he wants to do whether he likes to step down now or wants to be removed after being convicted.
The PTI chairman said,
“Sharif has no other option but to step down from his office,” PM’s resignation now a national demand.
The meeting was also attended by Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid. “The meeting concluded that the party should now shift its complete focus and proper attention towards next general elections,”
He said the leadership was optimistic that whatever the verdict will be or whatever the judgment will be it would be enough for the party to shape the campaign for next elections.
PTI chief should undertake another round of mass contact drive soon after the announcement of the verdict in the Panama case.
Imran Khan said
“Panama’s political impacts and issues are related to our future strategies and we will make our upcoming political strategy of the PTI according to it,”
The leadership thoroughly examined and noted every little detail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s politics of confrontation and its impact on national politics, parliament, and democracy.
The meeting also demanded of the Supreme Court the 10th Volume of the JIT report should be made public. PTI leaders from Karachi and Lahore also participated in the meeting via video link.
