Many top players of football arrive in the country to play exhibition matches in Karachi and Lahore. The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) have given sports fans some hope.
The PSF and PAF announced on Friday, A number of top-ranking international squash players will arrive next week for two squash series.
The visiting players include Karim Abdel Gawad from Egypt, who is currently ranked second in the world rankings. Omar Moosad who is an Egyptian too was ranked as third in the world last year.
Don’t take squash away from Pakistan: Jahangir
Other Egyptian players who will be visiting Islamabad for the series include Mohamed Aboulghar, Zahed Mohamed, and Karim Al-Fathi. On July 12 and 13, The Pakistan vs World-V series will be played at the Mushaf Squash Complex in Islamabad.
On July 15 and 16, the World Series will be followed by the bilateral Pakistan vs Egypt series. Other players participating include Leo Au from Hong Kong, Lucas Serme from France, Todd Harrity from America, Nathan Lake from England, apart from Al-Fathi.
